DPS Coronavirus testing to begin Monday, August 10, 2020 at All-city Stadium
Neighbors, we wanted to share with you that beginning the week of August 10, Denver Public Schools (DPS) will provide all asymptomatic employees, who are school-based or working in-person, access to schedule COVID-19 diagnostic testing at various drive-through sites – including the East parking lot at All-City Stadium. Testing will occur during working hours with some evening hours possible over time. You will see tents erected in the parking lots and will likely see some increased vehicle traffic. Please know that DPS is staffing traffic support to minimize any impact on navigation around the neighborhood, and will queue cars within the parking lot as much as possible. Cars will enter the lot from Race Street and exit on the west side of the stadium on Franklin Street.
This COVID-19 testing – combined with symptom-tracking tools – will help DPS manage potential outbreaks before they start, and quickly provide support to anyone who tests positive for the virus. This will be a key strategy to help us re-open our schools to serve students in-person.
Thank you for your support of DPS during these difficult times. If anyone has questions they can contact Elizabeth_mendez@dpsk12.org
