DONUT DASH 5K
THE RACE IS CONTAINED WITHIN WASHINGTON PARK AND NO ROAD CLOSURES WILL OCCUR.
Dates and Times
The Donut Dash 5K will take place on Sunday, April 2nd at 9:00 AM. Set-up will begin at 5:00 AM an
the event will conclude by 12:00 PM.
Location, Closures, Transportation and Parking Details
The event will take place at Washington Park. The entire event will be run with in the park limits
and will not require any road closures. However, we are expecting 1,500 runners throughout the day,
so parking in the area may be impacted on Sunday morning. A lot of the participants will park in
the high school parking lot, but a lot will also park on the surrounding streets.
Public Health
The Donut Dash will follow state and local public health orders and guidelines to ensure a safe
event
Special Features
We are expecting 1,500 runners and walkers for this event. We will have a DJ at the start line and
finish line in the diagonal with sound starting at 8:00 AM.
