FANS (Friends and Neighbors of Washington Park) is holding its fifth annual Washington Park Photo Contest. Â This is an opportunity to showcase your talents in finding unique views of the park. All proceeds from the contest go back to the park.
The contest is open to all levels of photographers, who will be judged in three categories: Nature, People/Pets, and Places. Entries will be accepted from May 1 to June 10, 2017.
All photographs must be taken within the park. Winners will receive prizes and be exhibited at the Washington Park Boathouse July Fourth Celebration and on the FANS photo contest website. The winning photographs will be featured in the FANS 2018 calendar which will be on sale in the fall of 2017.
