February CAB Meeting and Crime Update

The District Three February CAB (Citizens Advisory Board) meeting will be on the first Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 6pm in the community room at the District Three station, 1625 So. University Blvd. The hour long meeting will cover the growing population in Denver’s largest police district. District Three has more square miles than any of the other five stations. The population is growing with the additional apartment buildings that are being built on the south and south east sides of the district. Domestic violence, property theft and street robberies are increasing. The CAB meeting will review the current crime trends and what action District Three will be using to combat this increase.

WPE residents can combat crime by being out and about around your property on a regular basis. All residents are required to shovel sidewalks with in a 24 hour period after the snow has stopped. By doing so it will let people know that you care about your property and you are there! More theft takes place when residents are not observant as to the day to day activities of their block!
