There will be 2 guest speakers at the February 12 WPENA meeting.
The first will be Spencer McCullough, representing The Denver Internet Initiative. This organization is “working on making sure Denverites have a say in our telecommunications infrastructure and is making sure that the Comcast/Century Link stronghold comes to an end. As the internet becomes ever more important in our daily lives (medicine, banking, education), we need to make sure that we have a voice in how sit is run here in Denver”.
The second speaker will be Councilmember Paul Lopez, who is a candidate for Denver Clerk and Recorder, on the ballot for the May 7 election.
See the meeting event page for more information.
