WPENA is pleased to welcome Courtney Bowers, Campaign Manager, Light the Night Walk, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Rocky Mountain Chapter, as our guest speaker at the September 10 meeting. She will discuss the outstanding work and accomplishments of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the upcoming Walk in Washington Park on Thursday, September 26.
Our second guest speaker will be Scott Balderman, candidate for DPS School Board on the November ballot. He is a previous PTA president at Lincoln Elementary School. Other speakers include Community Resource Officer Matthew Grimsley and Councilman Paul Kashmann.
All are welcome to attend this meeting, at St. Johns Lutheran Church and School, 700 S Franklin St. Enter from the parking lot on S. Gilpin St., pass through the large Community Room and turn right to enter the Chapel. As usual, the meeting begins at 6:45 PM.Â
