Through community-driven engagement and outreach, this project will tell the story of Denver’s
American Indian and Indigenous communities and identify historic places and resources associated with
their history in Denver. This will guide city efforts to ensure inclusive preservation practices, not just
through historic designation, but also broader land use planning and policy. Funding for this event
comes from the Rose Community Foundation.
