The March 6,2018, CAB (Citizens Advisory Board) meeting will be in the community room of the District Three police station at 6 p.m. In the hour long meeting Commander Magen Dodge will discuss current crime trends as they relate to the increasing population of District Three, the largest police district by acreage out of the six districts. Residents can ask questions of Commander Dodge’s officer after the meeting.
District Three took in just under 20,000 reports from citizens for 2017. These included vehicle thefts, thefts from vehicles, person to person crime ( domestic and homicides).
Insurance rates for vehicles and homes in zip codes 80209 and 80210 are rising not only to value but theft reports! Wash Park residents need to continue to HARDEN THE TARGET and keep the crime out!
