Its that green time of year again! Frequent rains and abundant sunshine supercharge our lawns as well as those pesky unwanted weeds. Most of us take tremendous pride in making our properties look great, including regular mowing and weed control.

So what to do when there’s a home in the neighborhood that doesn’t seem to be taking care of their lawn in the same way?
First of all, please consider that not everyone has the same resources as others. Perhaps an elderly person lives in the home and is unable to work in their yard as much as they used to. Or, perhaps the home is temporarily vacant between homeowners or tenants. Offering a helping hand could create a great feeling inside that you’ve helped out a neighbor in need!
However, if you need to report grass or weed growth that exceeds 6 inches in height, you can file a report by visiting PocketGov or calling 3-1-1.
